Originally from Minnesota, Elizabeth Ferguson received her doctorate from the University of Minnesota. She completed both general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN; and she maintains board certification in both specialties. Her clinical practice focuses on reconstructive breast surgery, and she is committed to providing exceptional care to underserved communities, especially uninsured women facing a breast cancer diagnosis. 

Dr. Ferguson is a recovering surgery program director of 6 years as well as a former DIO and assistant dean for GME.  She remains active in both undergraduate and graduate medical education.  She is most passionate about helping learners at all levels find their way in medicine and surgery in particular.  She is a certified life coach, a wife and a mama to two fabulous little people.

Meghan Thomas is a former clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist who left clinical practice in 2021. She resides in Washington with her husband and daughter.
